2008 Stanley Cup Semifinals - Flyers @ Canadiens Game 2
The Philadelphia Flyers beat the Montreal Canadiens at home at one of my favorite hockey arenas, the Bell Centre during game 2. I think the win shocked the Habs. Montreal goaltender, Carey Price, also voiced his disapproval of Umberger’s second goal which he felt involved a little goalie interference (watch the highlights and judge for yourself). Here’s the scoring summary:
PHI: Umberger, R. (05:53 in 1st), Carter, J. (PPG, 08:39 in 1st), Briere, D. (13:33 in 2nd), Umberger, R. (17:39 in 3rd)
MTL: Koivu, S. (PPG, 16:18 in 1st), Markov, A. (01:26 in 3rd)
