5 Reasons Why the NHL Ain’t Coming to Hamilton

The Globe & Mail’s David Naylor has a good column looking at the five reasons the NHL - and the Nashville Predators - aren’t coming to Hamilton. The reasons include:

1. The Toronto Maple Leafs and its territorial rights

2. Nashville’s lease

3. Concern about too many teams in one region with Toronto and Buffalo already in Southern Ontario/New York State

4. Gary Bettman is anti-Canadian

5. Questions about whether Jim Balsillie was really serious about buying the team (This one, I don’t buy)
