Carlyle Coaching Ducks For Two More Years
Randy Carlyle will continue to coach the Anaheim Ducks for, at least, another two years. He was given a contract extension that will keep him with the club until the 2010-2011 NHL season.
Obviously, he’s had some great success with the team - he led them to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 1997 (yeah, one that wasn’t written into a Disney film!) and a 47-27-8 record for 102 points this past season. They finished fourth in the Western Conference.
