Caps Destroy the Bruins - March 3, 2008

WOW!!!!!!!!  Alexander Ovechkin had a monster night last night when the Washington Capitals played the Boston Bruins.  The guy not only got to the 50 goal mark but he also recorded a hat trick and two assists!!!  Can you believe that????? 
Final score? Caps 10, Boston 2.  Talk about an ass whooping…

Washington Capitals Re-sign Semin

The Washington Capitals signed forward, Alexander Semin, to a two-year, $9.2-million US contract extension today.

Semin, 23, is scheduled to make $1.2 million this season and was headed to free agency in the summer had the Capitals not locked him up in a contract.
