Last night’s game felt like a tighter battled continuation of Game 1 between the Detroit Red Wings and Dallas Stars.
Dallas fell to the Wings but they can’t look to goalie Marty Turco to blame - the netminder was excellent, despite the loss, stopping 32 of 34 shots on goal. Stephane Robidas opened scoring […]

The Philadelphia Flyers have gotten some bad news: their all-star defenseman Kimmo Timonen has been sidelined indefinitely with a blood clot in his left foot. The Flyers meet the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Timonen was injured when he was hit with a shot by Montreal Canadiens player, Andrei […]

The fairytale continues for Hilary Duff and New York Islanders player, Mike Comrie. They have been spotted all over the place!
The picture at left is of them at the ‘Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy‘ Costume Institute Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City a few nights ago. I think […]

Ugh. I’m sorry but this just grosses me out. Not only do I really dislike Elisha Cuthbert but I think it’s just nasty how she is just turning into the hockey whore. Yeah, I said it. If I was Calgary Flames defenseman, Dion Phaneuf, I would be really turned off by the amount of […]

Montreal Canadiens rookie goalie, Carey Price, is saying that he’s looking forward to a little peace and quiet following his crazy year. The super young goaltender took over the top spot when the Habs traded Cristobal Huet to the Washington Capitals.
“It seems like I’ve been playing for two years straight,” the 20-year-old said […]

One of the most talked about hockey players this season was goaltender, Ray Emery, and, unfortunately, it was usually for all the wrong reasons. The Ottawa Senators were swept (SWEPT!) by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of this season’s Stanley Cup Playoffs and almost everyone is blaming the “Razor.” I don’t know if […]

Could it be? Is there really someone out there more obsessed with Miikka Kiprusoff than me? Seems like it! This young Calgary Flames fan has taken his fandom to a whole new level. I would think this was adorable if I wasn’t so disturbed… just kidding - Go Flames Go!

Let me just vent for a second about Jody Shelley. I’m not even going to sink so low as to talk about that name but, seriously, did the man’s parents hate him *that* much that his first AND last names are both traditionally female? Maybe that’s why he has to be the rat […]

Washington Capitals superstar, Alexander Ovechkin, has finally made it to the playoffs and he got his first goal a couple nights ago when the Caps defeated the Philadelphia Flyers (which was the same night when poor Patrick Thoresen took a puck to the groin).
Here’s the goal:
