Mike Comrie Shops with Hilary Duff and Her Mom!

New York Islanders center, Mike Comrie, was spotted shopping in Glendale, California earlier this week with his girlfriend, Hilary Duff, and her mother.  I don’t know about you but when a guy shops with a girl and her mom I assume it’s pretty serious.  For a native of Edmonton, he really is fitting into the […]

Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Jaroslav Modry is heading home to the Czech Republic and I don’t blame him at all.
The 37-year-old veteran has decided to leave the NHL after signing a two-year deal with Czech club HC Liberec with whom he played during the NHL lockout in 2004-05.
He’s at the end of his career, he […]

Senators Extend Vermette’s Contract

Looks like the Ottawa Senators didn’t want to risk losing forward, Antoine Vermette (there were some rumblings about the Vancouver Canucks showing some interest) and have re-signed him to a two-year contract worth $5.525 million.
He had a great season last year and enjoyed career highs with 24 goals and 29 assists.  He also had […]

Well, it looks like there is no shortage of interest in former Toronto Maple Leafs captain, Mats Sundin.  His agent, JP Barry, couldn’t stop moving his lips about all the possibilities on Team 1040 Sports Radio (Vancouver).
”The number has gone up, not gone down since July 1st,” Barry said. ”The other three (teams) would […]
