Dallas Stars Sign Daley to Three-Year Deal
The Dallas Stars may have been eliminated from the Stanley Cup Finals but they still have their minds on next year. They’ve signed promising young player, Trevor Daley, to a three-year deal worth $6.9-million. It’s quite an improvement for the defencemen who earned a meagre $800,000 last year.
“At just 24 years of age, Trevor continues to grow as a hockey player and we are looking for his game to improve over the next three years,” said Stars co-GM Les Jackson. “He is a valuable member of our hockey club and is a key part to our strong nucleus of younger players.”
He is one of the few players in the league who appeared in all 82 games this past season, during which he amassed 24 points along with 85 penalty minutes.
