Flames Re-sign Conroy, Langkow and More

The Calgary Flames have been busy. Last week, during the 2008 NHL Draft, they moved Alex Tanguay to the Montreal Canadiens (I’m still furious), acquired Mike Cammaleri and now have extended some contracts to existing players to secure their roster for next season.
Yesterday, they announced the re-signing of centres, Craig Conroy and Daymond Langkow along with left wing, Eric Nystrom, and goaltender, Curtis McElhinney. I’m happy Connie is staying but I’m particularly thrilled about Langkow. It just feels like he’s been a Flame forever and I hope it stays that way. Should be an exciting season.
