Malkin’s First Hat Trick Beats Maple Leafs
Evgeni Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the crap out of the Toronto Maple Leafs last night. What a crazy game!
Evgeni Malkin recorded his first three-goal game in the NHL when the Pens beat the Leafs 6-2! Sidney Crosby had an assist on two of those goals.
The worst part? The Pens scored three times in 48 seconds in the third period!
"The team is winning games. We’re playing better and better every game" said Malkin in the state-the-obvious statement of the night.
"Once he gets one, he wants to get two and thereafter, too," defenseman Brooks Orpik said about Malkin. "He really looked good."
I guess the Pens weren’t affected by the cold, snowy Winter Classic game! For the full game story, click here.
